It is widely acknowledged that contractors wishing to compete in civil construction are significantly limited in their ability to gain client recognition if their management systems do not meet client and industry expectations. And, given the risks associated with operating a civil construction business, it makes good business sense to maintain and operate under appropriate systems to minimise the risk of breaching legislative, community and commercial obligations.
Over many years the CCF in consultation with industry stakeholders has developed and refined our Integrated Management System (IMS) and Small Contractor Integrated Management System (SCIMS).
These systems have been specifically designed to meet the needs of the civil construction industry and assist contractors to meet the requirements of one or more of the following:
- The Civil Construction Management Code
- AS/NZ 4801 Occupational Health and Safety
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management
- ISO 9001 Quality Management
IMS and SCIMS systems can be purchased through the Western Australian office. Please contact Ry Fonseka, Membership Manager on (08) 9240 5233 if you would like a system demonstration or further information.
