Manual Handling – Implications for civil contractors
WorkSafe will identify and discuss the implications for contractors for dealing with the current issues of
Manual Handling/Slips, trips and falls within the workplace. They will also speak on the current program
being run by WorkSafe and the focus that they will be taking into the future.
Traffic Management
Tim Hoare will provide an update on the Road Safety - Traffi c Management Code of Practice that has
been reviewed and advise contractors of the changes and how these changes will impact on contractor’s
management of Traffi c on Construction sites.
