The Road to Success is always Under Construction

The 2005 Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) National Conference was one of the best the Federation has ever held.

Over three days delegates including CCF Members, industry suppliers, government agencies and the general public had a unique opportunity to see, feel and talk about advances in this great industry of ours.

The 2005 CCF Conference delegates were presented with a range of topics aimed squarely at their businesses.

Small highly interactive toolbox sessions appealling to business owners, management, supervisors, human resource and financial managers alike were presented by a series of experts.

As always the Gala Dinner and presentation of the national winners in the Case Earth Awards for Environmental and Construction Excellence showcased civil construction in Australia.

A comprehensive range of business sessions  was held and sponsored by OAMPS and Mini-Tankers.

Starting in the morning with a keynote address by Arthur Athanasiou from Rigby Cooke Lawyers on Taxation Implications of Employment including the age-old problem of sub-contractor vs. employee.

There was also The Great Debate which featured an address to the Delegates by Andrew Robb AO MP outlining his favourable views on the new WorkChoices Legislation to be introduced in March, 2006.
