This week saw the Tasmanian Government launch the Small Business Strategy, developed as part of its Economic Development Plan.Among other things, the Strategy aims to simplify access to information and provide a fair-go for small business; improve small business’ access to government tenders; as well as deliver more capacity building, training, facilitation and mentoring services to small businesses.CCF Tasmania has been actively involved with representatives from Tasmanian government agencies over the past few months in helping them achieve these goals.The Economic Development Plan can be viewed online at http://www.development.tas.gov.au/ economic/economic_development_planThe Small Business Strategy can be viewed online athttp://www.development.tas.gov.au/economic/economic_development_plan/achieving_our_vision/supporting_business/small_business
